This Privacy Policy explains how Q'ED LLC ("Q'd", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit realqd.com, join our waitlist, or use our services, including text messages you choose to receive from us.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your email address and first name, and your answers to any questions on our waitlist form. If you use our services, your mobile phone number and the messages you send us.
- Information collected automatically. Basic device and usage information such as browser type, pages viewed and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technology.
- Information from service providers, including mobile network operators. Information about your phone number and wireless device from partners, including mobile network operators (wireless carriers) and their service providers, used to verify your identity and to prevent fraud and abuse.
Carrier Data
You authorize your wireless carrier to use or disclose information about your account and your wireless device, if available, to Q'ED LLC or its service provider for the duration of your business relationship, solely to help them identify you or your wireless device and to prevent fraud. How we use information
- To run our services, including holding your place in line and telling you when it is your turn.
- To send you messages you have asked for, such as confirmation codes, status updates and early access invites.
- To prevent fraud, bots and abuse, and to keep our services fair.
- To understand interest in Q'd and improve our website and services.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
Text messages
If you text us or opt in to receive texts, we use your mobile number to send messages related to what you signed up for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information or messaging consent with third parties, affiliates or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is specific to Q'ED LLC and cannot be transferred to another sender. The sharing provisions elsewhere in this policy do not permit another business to use your SMS consent for its own messaging.
Our service providers may process messaging information only to operate the program on our behalf, under restrictions on its use. Joining our email waitlist or trying the website walkthrough does not subscribe you to SMS. Read our SMS Terms and SMS program information for details and support.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, email, messaging and fraud-prevention providers, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us.
- With mobile network operators (wireless carriers) and their service providers, to verify your identity and your wireless device and to detect and prevent fraud.
- With a merchant whose release you join, limited to what is needed to complete your purchase with that merchant.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Q'd, our users or others.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technology, including from HubSpot, to operate our website and understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Security and retention
We protect personal information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption of phone numbers we store. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and opt out of texts by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. To make a request, email info@realqd.com.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
